Black and white handmade ceramic jugs, painted by hand.

Beer Jug Series – Bridging Ancient and Modern
This project presents a series of handmade ceramic beer jugs inspired by ancient Philistine vessels discovered in Israel. Each jug has undergone a process of “reinterpretation,” blending original decorative elements — such as fish, birds, and geometric ornamentation — with visual cues drawn from contemporary craft beer branding.
The series includes three ceramic jugs, each representing a different archaeological site associated with Philistine settlement.
The work was exhibited in the show "Food on the Move" at the Philistine Museum in Ashdod, Israel.
